At the age of just 24, Sabbin Islam Sanan has emerged as a significant figure in Bangladesh’s overseas education sector by founding Tawakkul Malaysia Education Consultancy, a platform that has already helped more than 700 Bangladeshi students secure higher education opportunities in Malaysia.
Hailing from a rural background, Sanan personally experienced the difficulties of studying abroad when he moved to Malaysia in 2019. Navigating university admissions, visa processing, accommodation, and travel arrangements without support led him to establish a service-oriented platform to assist others facing similar challenges. 
Founded with the aim of making foreign education more accessible to students from underprivileged and rural areas, Tawakkul Malaysia operates its head office in Mohammadpur, Dhaka, along with a regional branch in Patuakhali. The consultancy’s core operations are managed from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Notably, Tawakkul Malaysia offers all its services free of charge, including university admission support, visa processing, air ticket booking, accommodation assistance, and airport pickup. The organization does not collect any additional service fees from students.
Since its inception, the consultancy has built partnerships with several top-ranked Malaysian universities, such as Asia Pacific University, SEGi University, INTI International University, University of Cyberjaya, UNIKL, UNITEN, MMU, and NILAI University.
Speaking about the initiative, Sabbin Sanan said,
My goal was to make foreign education accessible to students from remote villages. Tawakkul Malaysia is a means to turn that dream into reality.
Tawakkul Malaysia plans to expand its services to countries such as Canada and Australia in the near future. A digital student portal is also under development to allow real-time tracking of admission and visa application statuses.
With over 700 students already placed, the initiative continues to grow as a trusted consultancy for aspiring Bangladeshi students seeking education abroad.
