Bangladeshi Gaming Startup NapTech Labs Ranked 9th Globally by GoodFirms

NapTech Labs, a Bangladeshi startup founded during the COVID-19 lockdown, has emerged as a remarkable success in the HTML5 gaming industry. Established in 2020 by Mosabbir Hossain and co-founder Sujana Haque, the company has developed and published over 600 games in just four and a half years. These games have been played more than 20 million times globally, generating revenue of over BDT 1.6 crore since inception—of which BDT 1 crore was earned in 2024 alone.

Specializing in HTML5 games, NapTech Labs allows users to play games directly on web browsers across mobile, desktop, and smart TVs—without requiring any app installations. The company earns through gamification models, ad revenue, game sales, and revenue-sharing on international platforms.

Currently, NapTech Labs operates in 24 countries, including the USA, France, Turkey, Vietnam, Australia, China, Japan, and India. They partner with 15 global ad networks and 18 international companies, opening doors to platform-based revenue opportunities worldwide.

The journey began when Mosabbir, inspired by his prior experience in game development, turned his long-held startup dream into reality during the 2020 lockdown. Partnering with Sujana Haque, whom he met through a previous training program, they formed a four-person team and began building what is now one of Bangladesh’s most successful game development companies. The company now employs over 15 developers, designers, artists, and marketing professionals.

NapTech Labs owns and operates NapTech Games, an online gaming platform featuring over 40,000 instant-play games accessible from mobile, tablet, desktop, and smart TV. It is currently one of South Asia’s largest gaming portals. Their games are also featured on India’s JioGames, Grameenphone’s GP App (Zose Games), Robi’s Game Box, and Teletalk’s Naptex Games.

Moreover, the company collaborates with local tech giant SSL Wireless and international gaming platforms like Gamepix and Gamezop. NapTech also develops custom mini-games for Chinese smartphone brands like Infinix, Tecno, and Itel, to be featured on offline platforms like Palm Store and Aha Games.

Venturing into edtech, NapTech launched Kiddy King Games, a series of educational games for children, designed to improve mathematical, logical, and language skills through fun and interactive gameplay.

Each game takes about 15 days to develop, and the company plans to release over 1,500 new titles in the coming years, including casual, hyper-casual, educational, and branded games.

NapTech Labs’ achievements have gained international recognition. In 2025, GoodFirms, a global B2B rating platform, ranked NapTech Labs 9th among the world’s top game development companies and 1st in Bangladesh.

Recently, NapTech Labs was invited to join Google’s Accelerated Growth Program, which includes three months of collaboration with Google. However, joining the program requires significant investment. The team is currently in talks with several investors to secure the required funding.

Mosabbir Hossain expressed ambitions to expand into 50 countries and strengthen their capabilities in AI-based game development, emphasizing that proper investment could accelerate this vision significantly.
