The Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has announced an updated schedule for metro rail services on Fridays, effective January 17. Passengers can now enjoy the convenience of an earlier start, as the first train will depart from Uttara North station at 3:00 pm, instead of the previous 3:30 pm.
Key highlights of the updated Friday schedule:
- First train from Uttara North: 3:00 pm | Last train: 9:00 pm
- First train from Motijheel: 3:20 pm | Last train: 9:40 pm
- Ticket sales at Uttara North station begin at 2:45 pm, while Motijheel’s ticket booths open at 3:05 pm.
Trains will continue to operate with a 10-minute headway time, ensuring efficient service for passengers. The changes aim to enhance the convenience and accessibility of metro rail services for commuters during the weekend.
