Lubna Jaman, an exceptional graduate from the Department of Finance & Banking at Comilla University, has been officially nominated for the University Grants Commission (UGC) Merit Scholarship 2024. Her name appeared in the official notice released by the Registrar’s Office of Comilla University.
Lubna earned this esteemed recognition based on her outstanding academic performance during the 2018–19 academic session. She completed her BBA (Honours) with an impressive CGPA of 3.94 out of 4.00, securing the top position under the Faculty of Business Studies in Category A (Merit).
The UGC Merit Scholarship is one of the highest academic honors awarded to students from public universities across Bangladesh, celebrating consistent academic excellence, dedication, and resilience. As per UGC guidelines, the scholarship fund will be disbursed directly to the recipient’s designated bank account via electronic transfer.
