Google co-founder Larry Page is reportedly working on a new startup called Dynatomics, focused on integrating artificial intelligence into product manufacturing, according to The Information.
Page is collaborating with a small team of engineers to develop AI systems capable of generating highly optimized product designs, which can then be manufactured in factories. The initiative is being led by Chris Anderson, former CTO of Kittyhawk — an electric airplane startup previously backed by Page.
While Page’s approach is ambitious, he isn’t the only entrepreneur exploring AI-driven manufacturing solutions. Orbital Materials is developing an AI platform to discover new materials, from advanced batteries to carbon-capture cells. PhysicsX offers simulation tools for engineers in industries like automotive and aerospace, while Instrumental uses vision-based AI to detect anomalies in factory production lines.
Page’s new venture highlights the growing trend of leveraging AI to streamline complex manufacturing processes, potentially transforming industries by accelerating design iterations, reducing costs, and driving innovation.
