Team Black Pearl, a group of talented students from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), has secured first place in the prestigious 12th International Student Design Competition for a Safe and Affordable Ferry (2024-25). The competition, organized by the Worldwide Ferry Safety Association (WFSA), brought together top engineering students from across the globe to develop innovative ferry safety and affordability solutions.
Team Black Pearl’s groundbreaking design not only showcased technical excellence but also addressed real-world challenges in the ferry industry.
