Miracle in Air India Crash: British National Rescued Alive

Ahmedabad, India – A British national has been rescued alive from the Air India aircraft that crashed in Ahmedabad, local police have confirmed.

According to Ahmedabad Police Commissioner G.S. Malik, the survivor was seated in seat 11A during the flight. “He is alive and currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital,” Commissioner Malik told news agency ANI.

The passenger has been identified as Bishwas Kumar Ramesh, a UK citizen. His name was verified from the official passenger list released by the authorities.

Indian media outlets have reported speaking directly with Mr. Ramesh at the hospital. He confirmed his presence on the flight and showed journalists his boarding pass, which clearly states his name and seat number.

Describing the incident, Mr. Ramesh told reporters:

“Within 30 seconds of takeoff, there was a loud noise, and the plane crashed. Everything happened so quickly.”

Further investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
