Popular K-pop girl group BLACKPINK has announced a new world tour, marking their return to the global stage after over a year and five months. The group’s agency, YG Entertainment, confirmed the news in a statement on Thursday, accompanied by a teaser video on their official blog.
This announcement follows the massive success of their previous ‘Born Pink’ tour, which ran from 2022 to 2023. During that tour, BLACKPINK performed in 34 cities worldwide, captivating over 1.8 million fans. The ‘Born Pink’ tour is recognized as the largest world tour by a female K-pop group to date.
While YG Entertainment has not yet revealed specific details about the upcoming tour, including dates or starting locations, the announcement has already sparked excitement among fans, known as ‘BLINKs.’ 
Since their debut on August 8, 2016, BLACKPINK—comprising members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—has transcended language barriers and gained a massive international following. Their dynamic performances, charismatic stage presence, and multilingual appeal have solidified their status as global icons.
