Bangladesh has achieved a historic milestone at the World Mathematics Team Championship 2024 (WMTC-2024) held in Doha, Qatar. This year, all 27 participants representing Bangladesh across three categories—Junior, Intermediate, and Advanced—successfully earned medals, showcasing their exceptional talent on the global stage.
The team secured a total of 6 gold medals, 11 silver medals, 7 bronze medals, and 3 merit awards. This incredible performance highlights the dedication and hard work of the students, mentors, and organizers involved in the journey. 
To prepare for this prestigious competition, participants were selected through a meticulous process. A nationwide selection round was conducted, followed by a National Round, and finally, a Team Selection Round to identify the most capable candidates to represent the country.
The achievements at WMTC-2024 reflect the potential of Bangladesh’s youth and their ability to compete at the highest level in international platforms. This success not only brings pride to the nation but also inspires the next generation of math enthusiasts.
